Face the night with a glow
Smile down on a poor soul
Light up a sad, secluded pathway
Spread your light, but not hide your scars
Be the moon, sometimes.
What an original title. So much in so few words. A great meditation on courage and vulnerability. The last line feels like a little bit of heaven . Oh to be the moon! ! ! ! Wonderful Nosheen
Nice expression, , , face the night with a flat, , l liked the way u presented your theme. Thanks. You
Spread your light, but not hide your scars Be the moon, sometimes. Wow.. what a beautiful line dear poetess! Loved it.10 for this lovely poem. Subhas
Spread your light but do not hide your scars! The art of penning a short poem that it powerful is a skill that few poets master, you are indeed one of them that has, a poem should light up a path as your moon has for us! Very well written.10+++++
So soft... so gently illuminating.... your pen was filled with moonbeams perhaps? Reads that way anyway- -reads like a poem trailing moonlight to guide us through the shadowy paths
don't hide scars and spread your light, beautiful way to see and say it in a poem. a positive message
This is a very characteristic NOSHEEN POEM. It sets a lovely scene with the beauty of nature movingly evoked to carry your message. And that message always includes a sense of sympathy for someone who doesn; t have access to the Joy you highlight. The Moon itself is a fickle friend, if y0u were the moon it would shed consoling light consistently. And we would rejoice at your fidelity!
Like the brave full moon in your photo, a sparkling poem to match. This is a very good and wise poem.
Well reading Kumarmani's comments I could only think that I was glad that he had read them. Interesting and revealing how the calm, soothing handful of words work their magic. Reading each syllable so light yet with the weight of wisdom, so natural like a handful of moon dust.

A cute little poem and a lovely image! Yes, let us be the moon, shedding a little light in darkness!
