    A witty poem
    Embellished in a quatrain
    Of rhyme and rhythm.

Returning to a poem that once read is never forgotten, we ate each other - in some english regional accents the 'h' at the beginning of a word is dropped, so 'hate' could be pronounced 'ate'. (Report) Reply

I agree with Ian. Many of us have been here and it sums up an impossible situation beautifully.

This piece really touched me - I have been where the poet is... And, although I understand the writer may have been feeling small when this was composed; I personally, would have used a capital 'I'. (Report) Reply
