Carl... - Poem by beth coleman

There is no phrase tha can describe
This love feeling deep within
From today, for ever more
My heart will always sing.

You saved me from my loneliness
Rescued me from pain
My rock for me to lean on
When my life became a strain.

Sometimes when you lay sleeping
When you're huddled close and near
I whisper that I love you
So softly in your ear.

Carl, you mean the world to me
My everything, my life
I'll give you love, my strength, my soul
Swear forever be your wife.......

.......I love you........

Except for the first stanza, this was great. Carl should look around and see that he has you. Lucky Guy. (Report) Reply
