The Mother Cat with her cute kittens
Sits on the stairs watching in silence,
Aware of the surroundings,
Alert to any happening,
Agile to any situation!
The Mother has taught her children,
To live with an attitude of gratitude,
To live without complaining,
To live without comparing,
To live without criticising!
Just to Watch patiently,
Just to be a witness only!
A beautiful creation insightfully crafted with clarity of thought and mind. Thanks for sharing, Remain enriched, madam.
Part - 1 A mother is the real and first teacher of her children. She has immeasurable love towards them. Here you have so nicely and tactfully inscribed the advices of a cat mother to her cute kittens which means to human beings too. I want to cite here....The
Part - 2 Mother has taught her children, / To live with an attitude of gratitude, / To live without complaining, / To live without comparing, / To live without criticising! ......Best advices. The graphic you have attached here is so attractive. Thank you dear Dr. Geeta R.K. Menon ji for sharing this gem with us. Top marks.
This poem is so thoughtful. Your poems made me love my cats more
A thoughful poemnon mother cat imbibing good to her kittens like any human beings disciplining her child. Congrats to the poet Dr Geeta Radhakrishna for this kovely poem..
2 “Comparing” shouldn’t just be thought as BAD, If it were thought as JUST bad, it’d be so sad. And YOU KNOW I’m often, on PH, “criticising”. It, too, ain’t all bad. I’m (good or bad) analyZing. I’m no kitten, nor cat. That’s a fact! ! Bri :)
1 My Response To Geeta Menon’s Cat Clan 3 - The Mother Cat & Her Kittens Celebrate Life I am ‘grateful’ for that which pleases me, or at least is “for my good”. Do you see? As for “complaining”, I do enough; it’s so, because some around me cause me woe. cont.

I would like to translate this poem
Awesome picture. Innocent and adorable kittens help this photoshoot in a disciplined manner. And the poem beautifully translates this spectacular scene of a mother cat with a couple of kittens sitting on as many stairs. Really a crafty poem. Thanks, Geeta ji. It presents the poet as a keen observer as well as a great lover of nature.
