A cat came to sleep on the wall
To hide in the thickness of foliage
No purring emitted from his sated mouth
He just slumped down in deep sedation
of a full belly and the toils of a fruitful prowling
His eyes opened, as the leaves ruffled his hair
shot a glance at me
and seemed to say
'I'm happy. Do you mind? '

Beautiful, .....................................................................
In deep sedation! Without any bat around. Nice piece of work.
Thank you for sharing this incident in your life. None of these supposedly unimportant little events are unimportant. Not to the artist who works with oils or the artist who works with musical scores or the artist who works with words. These events are the point of juncture with another living being and deepens our connections with God's creation.
Beautiful! I would have liked him to be feminine. Male cats are invariably unfriendly. Please read my poem Blackie, Blackie, Where Are You? if you have time. (10)
~~Would that we all could find that contentment. You never fail to make me feel good with your writing. I wish we were neighbors. : -)

Great! Cats always say that.
