Ripchurr Moone

Chance - Poem by Ripchurr Moone

You had your chance
And broke the lance
To protect us from the dark.
What kind of father
Would run to another
And leave their child broken?
You could have tried
To say goodbye
From your cowardice that time.
But you decided
Single-minded
That we weren't worth your time.
