Cicadas - Tanka Poem by Rose Marie Juan-austin

Cicadas - Tanka

Rating: 5.0

Thumblike cicadas
Smashed into the clean windshield
Of my new blue car
Splattered their sticky liquid
Ended their defeaning buzz.

Indeed, the USA highways are so big that the automobiles have constantly cicadas flying against their front. We in the Netherlands have only insects flying against our cars,

Oh yes this happens. They have their fate written like this. So, we should admire we are better humans.
