Darkest Hour - Poem by Patricia Gale

Come to me now sweet surrender
Bring peace unto a troubled soul
Lay me down where serenity's is found in silence's embrace
Take me here.... this moment..... pass me not
For tears fall like the sands of time
Rivers of regret flood a broken soul
Flashing and rushing the course of pain
Oh come thee now sweet angel of mercy

Geez Louise....I've been here....struggling through the Abyss. Very descriptive write. Anyone feeling this way should seek out bliss immediately! (Report) Reply

Life is not perfect, there comes a time when we are down and broken! Well-penned! (Report) Reply
