Dawn Of A New Day
He wakes us with the sun at morn,
To greet the new day that's been born.
Well-rested, you can face the day
Because His love has paved the way.
The day unfolds, just as it should,
And things go as you knew they would.
The birds and insects gather food,
While your own breakfast is quite good.
While slowly sipping coffee, you
Collect your thoughts on what you'll do
Your steps are ordered; plans are made
As bright sunlight fades into shade.
This day, a gift from God above,
A present from His hand of love.
It stands alone in time, and will
Its own unique purpose fulfill.
True and positive thoughts beautifully stated. A great reminder.
