Deja Vu Poem by Vijay Sai R

Deja Vu

Astonishing architecture
Magnificent carving
Towering idols
Temple car
Intricately decorated
Local folks
Celebrating fete
Gathering in numbers
An occasion
Not to be forgotten
So true
It turned out to be
As the earth crumbled
Shivering dangerously
Lasting seconds
More than everyone expected
Just when it appeared
The end of life
Is not so far
Everything stopped
And all became normal
So real it meant to me
Hard to believe
Not more than a dream!

Good write. The beauty of architecture and happy living with the vision of a cataclysmic event. Very strong contrast. Reality as a dream or a dream as reality? . It asks the question.

Very vivid imagination in a dream state. Seems so real hard to tell the difference between dream and reality. Well crafted.

The Earth crumbled/shivering dangerously - a vivid and beautiful line for a dream-like poem. Well done! !
