Devi Gayatri - Goddess Of Divine Sound & Light
The Upanishads hail
Her Majesty Devi Sarasvati
As the powerful Gayatri-
The divine Mantra!
The sacred sound,
The articulate expression!
Gayatri is Savithri
The divine Light!
Arising from the knowledgeable mind,
Alighting from the virtuous heart.
Savita or the lighted One,
Shines bright as a glittering crystal!
Gayatri represent the ‘Bheeja Mantra - ‘Aim'
The beginning of all Vedas!
The first Mantra of Rigveda,
The start of Yajurveda and Samaveda,
The ‘anusvara' representing Atharva Veda!
Savithri is ‘Vaak Devata' -
Goddess of speech and expression,
Words that spell art, science and philosophy!
Sweet nectar of divine communication,
Supreme sound of illumination and enlightenment!
Her Majesty Devi Sarasvati becomes the powerful mother Gayatri. Her grace builds beautiful sound and light. We feel her divinity all around us. The first Mantra of Rigveda refers her. Supreme sound of illumination and enlightenment enrich science and philosophy. This poem is excellently penned...5 stars..
