Dinner For You, Baby.... Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

Dinner For You, Baby....

Rating: 4.3

Dinner For You, Baby,

my dear spouse came so early today
why was he so rapidest on the way?

he said to me:
guess, what you think I'll do this noon?
honey, I don't get the answer so soon

i think i think you wanna prepare our dinner?
do you think that love, I am a sinner
the menu is so delicious
but I may not eat, love,my stomach is weak so precious

why are you so early at home then?
baby, i'll prepare
a delicious meal
for you

like the priest
reading the menu,
enjoying watchingothers eat
but he himself does not eat,

he is constantly fasting

for me a true enjoyable dinner and evening
no greater feast than only consuming not cooking

my spouse knows too well
true love goes through a well cared stomach

Your spouse is bust doctor and he is a nice person. Like a priest reads the verses he reads the menu. Amazing family life tied with affection is brought up ahead with amazing notion. Expressive poem is excellent one. Your spouse knows you very well. Thank you very much for penning this beautiful poem! ...5 stars..

A delightful poem, Sylvia. So lovely to be pampered by your husband. He cooks and you enjoy the dinner! My grandmother used to say that the secret of happiness is through the stomach. This is true love and care. All five stars for this poem..... :)
