Dog Lover's Burden Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Dog Lover's Burden

Rating: 5.0

O' how I can't stand cats
And how the cats dislike me
No matter how much I tried to be friendly,
I get screwed by them
Everytime I come upstairs; I get screeched by them
I tried a calming voice, but I was too loud
I tried to whisper, hoping it was gentler to their ears
But no prevail; they always screech, in my ears,
No wonder I love dogs
They always glad to see me
When I cause some pain, I always forgiven
And besides that, I love dog's utter dependence
I love them licking my feet when I cry
Do you think cats give a darn?
Bite me all you cat lovers out there!
I rather lose my hearing to rock 'n' roll than
Another complaint from a cat

I can be with dogs and cats. Yet, I love dogs better. A wonderful poem that many of us could relate thereto. Well expressed.
