Doordarshan (3)
With the advent of cable TV's concept
Multiple-channel streaming too crept
Then came dish-antennas and satellite
Hundreds of channels came to delight
So many channels so many companies
But before DD's reach all were bunnies
A private channel eyes entertainment
But Doordarshan has a range constant
DD is the only channel where you find
Classical or folk dance form combined
Classical or semi-classical music relays
Live or recorded no pvt. channel plays
Environment, literature, Gen. Science
Agriculture, Health and Eco-science
DD captures the spirit of Indian states
And 'Unity in diversity' it incorporates
Doordarshan is a mini India in television......capturing the diversity in various fields and promoting unity....highlighted by you in your splendid stanzas.....

So truly put. Now with a plethora of TV channels in vogue, we think that Doordarshan has become outdated. But it continues to rule the hearts of Indians as the country's largest and most popular broadcasting network with its wide range of programs. A great tribute to DD
