Drugs War And Hate Poem by Dave Alan Walker

Drugs War And Hate

Do I see
What nobody else can see
Is it just me
or is the world going down

The wars
The drugs
The hate
Do we want our children
to see what we have to flee

Do I want
My child to see
The drug crazed eyes
The drug talk banter
of someone who is high
Hiding behind a lie
Thinking it's all fine

Do I want
My child to see
The pain and the hate
that war can bring
The losing of sight
The loss of life and limb

No

I want
My child to see
Love happiness and peace

The hallucinating drugs are fashionable nowadays and the children get hooked to it easily, as the authorities are too democratic...

I know where you are coming from there...We don't want our children to see this but as sad as it is..we are living in troubled times. Good write!

My mom suffered a lot as a child, this reminds of something that she told me. A splendid work, from a fantastic writer

Short and concise; this poem is marvelous with a super-positive ending: I want my child to see love, happiness and peace.
