Each Step I Take
You are my memories in every step I take,
Fragrant reminders in flowers picked,
You are my life in the morning sun,
The one who walks into my dreams when the day is done,
You are my spirit when times get tough,
You are my energy when I fall and don't feel like getting up.
You are the voice I hear each passing day,
Telling me I must go on,
In that old familiar way.
You are my heart my very soul,
The one who made me whole,
And I miss your every breath,
Never to be forgotten,
For you were just the best.
