I stood so weak and helpless
To see my sea runs dry
Like fishes stab with sickles and spears
offered holy baptism of hottest oils
So is my life, a fish in trouble waters
Leaving under the shadow of the smallest tide
Boarding between the devil and the deep blue sea
So fast it all begins
So fast my hope is ruin
So fast I slide down to my agony
Yet the sun twiddles her smiles off me
Leaving me in my thickest dark
My hopes to the ground
Even the earth opens her mouth
Painting and praying for my hasty fall
I cried and cried
Feeling the pains of my ordeal
With tears as fountain with endless source
No one could aid
A shattered and lonely life
No one could help
Gone is all my happiness
Gone are all my hopes
Gone is all worth living for
All gone like the whirl wind
Gone far far away
Suddenly, I heard a gentle knock so real
I didn’t know what ill-luck it could be
I opened, I looked
I lingered, I wondered
Behold a man
With light and life from above
Like that of a heavenly dove
He wipes my tears I know
With blessings overdose
So glad I am my lord
I smiled and roar
Adieu to the extreme terror
Of my thickest dark
Fubara, Your faith shines through and how you overcome. You should put music to your words and sing.
Life will have its ups and downs, but light and hope will help uplift us all. Great write, I enjoyed reading this. -Leslie-
