Thank you, Barry, for your faithful and positive comments! Being a writer yourself, it should not surprise you to hear the backstory on this one. I discovered an old fragment of a poem I'd begun years ago, tucked between the pages of a favourite book. What a little gem! I thought. Wonder why I never finished it? So I did, gave it a title, and I'm very pleased with the result. It's short, but I think it packs a lot of meaning into a few words. I think it would make a good Valentine's poem! When I think of all the snippets of poetry that I've misplaced throughout the years.... Anyway, I'm in process of organising all my poetry. Have a wonderful Saturday! :)
