Fear-2
Fear! Fear! Fear!
It rapidly knocks at my door.
A solid rock of toughness
opens the door,
faces the darkness
that violently coerces.
Courage steps ahead.
My heart and mind,
so strong and vigilant.
I choose to fight.
The fear disappeared
and turned into hope
with a dazzling light.

I was about to leave a comment when, all of a sudden, PH [[ or 'fear' ]] tore away from my view, your poem. Sigh! : (
COERSE: verb '(used with object) , co·erced, co·erc·ing. to compel by force, intimidation, or authority, especially without regard for individual desire or volition: They coerced him into signing the document.' I don't see the 'object' & don't know what word(s) you mean to write.
I can feel the feet rapidly knocking and the courage that overcomes it! *****
It so happens mostly that fear precedes and courage succeeds...well said and encouraging too...kudos Rose
