Feelings Spoken Outloud - Poem by jade rose

I can't belive you did this to me
That I actually let you take advantage of me
So I guess I was dumb to belive that you could really like me

I really thought that you were different
I really thought that you were true
But I guess I was wrong
How could I be such a fool

I shouldn't have assumed that the feelings were mutual
But you should of said something instead of being equivocal

I blame myself for letting my emotions get the better part of me
which kept me from noticing that in reality you didn't love me
