Unwritten Soul

Return To The Sea - Poem by Unwritten Soul

Secret from the river
Carried by the endless waves
Flowing to return to the sea
And then hide in the ocean depth

As everybody feels happy and pain
So the innocence heart in us, just the same

Return to the sea
Listen the ballad of of waves
A confession in a song from sea
By the chanting bubbles of emotions
With the whispers in the ocean
Humming secret story from the depth
As this heart hide something in breath

Topic(s) of this poem: self reflection

If I touch your first linesecret from the river it is our imagination of silent flow. Because river will flow silently without producing any noise. We can listen its melodious rhythms when there is no external noise or voice from its bank. So the secret of the river is a imagination. From the imagination it may be any thing. It depends on the feeling of the person how he feels it. And it makes some sound when we looks in to 2nd line of your poem.Carried by the endless waves.

    To be continued.....

Hi Soul, Mubarak for the day.
Again will show a bad dare to write on this poem for the first stanzas of it
    1. Secret from the river
    2. Carried by the endless wave
    3. Flowing to return to the sea
    4. And then hide in the ocean depth.
From a first look we may think each lines have connecting to one by one
But if I peep deep in to it is not
in other cross it may have links

I checked out your biography and you don't say where you are from, but I think I can safely assume from your sentence structures that English is not your native language. Nevertheless, your poem has some good thoughts and leaves me with a pleasant feeling. Congratulations on having the poem selected as Poem of the Day! (Report) Reply

The title of the poem just took me back to my ester years of studenthood. It reminded me of one of the act plays 'The Riders to the Sea' by an Irish writer Synge portrays deep sufferings of a mother who sacrifices her sons one after other to the sea. (Report) Reply

and life's secret is liken to salt in the sea
    unseen from outside

    without which,
    life will not survive....

    Wonderful masterpiece of art, bro.
So true the sea. the sea is king and every drop of water flows towards it.
Just because the sea positions itself at the lowest level on earth.
We can learn so much from from this untouchable vast mass of water.
Our Creator has made it so vast, so big, but we cannot even drink from it.
So powerful, so huge so all-receiving, 'cause it puts itself humbly low.
    Humility is strength.
Wow, your poem provokes so many thoughts in me; I was just letting them flow for awhile.
    Excellent work.
