Flower 14 - The Dainty Daisies Poem by Geeta Radhakrishna Menon

Flower 14 - The Dainty Daisies

Rating: 5.0

Daisies are sweet flowers,
Dainty petals that never disguises,
Dancing in the breeze like dolls,
Delicate green stems holding gleeful blooms.
Diametrical in shape without any protruding plumes,
Directing the butterflies to fly around in swings,
Demonstrating its generosity with its puffy stamens,
Drinking honey bees that hover around lovely gardens.

Dainty Daisies!
Do you know how pretty you look?
Decorating every page in the book,
Delighting every passer-by while they walk,
Dispelling every unworthy mock and futile talk,
Distinctly perceived as a sprightly, flowery stalk!
