For Awhile You Were Mine.....
We danced on the billowing white clouds
Our feet as light as feathers down
Heaven was found in my heart that night
As twinkling star light mesmerized our souls
We floated with the angels
And painted the midnight sky
Eyes closed
With hearts wide opened
The music played or’ and or’
As we were lost in each other eyes
We drifted like sails open the open sea
Gentle breezes softly caressing our beings
So close we held each other
Our hearts beating to the sound of our names
Perfect syllables formed from your lips
As you whispered, I love you my darling
Yes you were mine for a little while
Forever held with in my dreams

Beautiful and romantic.I especially loved 'dancing on billowing white clouds ' and floating with the angels.' Sometimes the most perfect and purest love can be found in our dreams and there it is safe and forever ours to keep....mm.
I was touched by this great work of yours not only because it's marvellous itself, but because it reminded me of my super favorite song 'You were mine' performed by THE DIXIE CHICKS.....'when for so long, you were mine', as it goes.
