Some words ring
Make room for themselves
In you heart
Why?
He said
Go to your garden
Choose the most nondescript flower
Take it in your hands
I will put all my energy there.
I went to the garden
Found a little crimson flower
Crowning on the head of a grass blade
I held it on my palm
Softly, lest
Its petals may break
The flower smiled
For some seconds
I was not I
Flower was not there
Perhaps
It had melted in my hand.
Thank you dear Abhilasha Bhatt for reading and appreciating my poem.
You have captured a moment of bliss, fullness, in this short but profound writing. These are moments when one loses oneself in the universal whole. Great! (10)
Excellent. A sweet poem... loved it dear poetess.5 stars.
While people on this earth die of poverty and hunger Calling mankind developed is only a sham As all knowledge of man has failed madam I absolute love this poem 10+++++++
The first two lines of this piece stand out, almost incongruently from the remainder of the poem forming a very powerful emphasis for what follows, yet creating such a visual that my desire is to linger there first, and savor the imagery just a bit longer. And then the remainder of the poem is such a quietly radiant visualization of life, truth, love, that lingers in the mind long after the final words. Brilliant work, Bharati.

I would like to translate this poem
The melting of flower is a philosophical term...nicely used to describe the feeling of JOY and Happiness.....Loved it....The beauty is to see and feel and not to destroy....100++++
