If the mind is a cupboard
put this on a shelf—
don't undervalue others
or overvalue yourself.
and me as well. It is surely a sin to attack the dignity of another human being. thank you for the read and comment, smoky. -glen
Good advice, Glen, which I will put in my cupboard (the one I use...)
and, of course, i have first to keep it on a shelf of my own. this came from me anticipating being with twice-exceptional students who are gifted but somewhere on the autistic spectrum. and, as it probably does for you, this reminds me of paul's advice to think of others as better than ourselves. good to see you name, your comment, laurie. thanks! -glen
don't undervalue others or overvalue yourself.... yes. We should not undervalue others nor shoud overvalue ourselves. Beautifully crafted. Thanks for sharing.
hi, kumarmani! thanks for reading and commenting on this epigram. perhaps it's true for you as it is for me, getting older with its growing experience has convinced me that there are gifts in every person which, given time, we could discover. -glen
A strong message using beautiful words. Thanks for posting.
hi, anil! thank you! and, of course, this is comes out of my own experience and is first aimed at myself. be blessed! -glen
