Gem Poem by yoonoos peerbocus

Gem

Rating: 4.6

A merely striking beauty akin to a pomegranate bud,
colourful but dark inside is not hard to find-
fine is that rare gem made of'be what you seem'
like the first born babe's ice-clean smile
alike in and out in sincerity.Such transparency
alone exalts society to spiritual integrity
and man above human weal and woe. This victory

of truthful self essence in man is the devotion
of all faculties that bow in reverence to it
and the remembrance of personal
accountability.Sad, dark hearted man of reason
seldom fairly understands it and more rarely
abides by it though it's finer than a universe
in kind!

There is such purity in the natural smile, a true gem which should be valued above other things. This is one of your best poems, Yoonoos.10++++ and in my favourites

Thought is the soul of a poem but in my humble opinion a blank verse is not poetry rather it's prose.

Very nice poem, with such a big nucleus of wisdom inside it. In and out, the same, fully transparent, what a gem! Excellent.
