Getting Old Poem by Jim Yerman

Getting Old

When his joints ached as he rose
he kicked the chair leg in despair.
He knows it is the fault of age…
but it's easier to blame the chair.

A good poem about aging...be sure not to don't break the toe while kicking the chair...lol

We strike out in old age. We kick a chair (if we don't have a dog) : -) .

Getting old is difficult. The chair is indeed a better opponent to choose!
