Ghost Ship Poem by Practicing Poetess

Ghost Ship

Rating: 5.0

Peter Pan's Ghost Ship
As it floated past the moon
Was nothing more than clouds
That dissipated too soon.

Peter transported Wendy
Home to London, it seems
From Neverland, but when she woke,
It was only in her dreams.

Jealous mermaids, pirate fights,
Saving an Indian princess
Only happened in the land of Nod
Where anything's possible, I guess!

Lost boys, ticking crocodiles
And pixies flying fast
Never having to grow up
Until we wake, at last.
