Go, Edie Go Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Go, Edie Go

Rating: 5.0

Edie, go and dance
Dance until yr legs can't hold you
Anymore
Don't sleep because if you do
Yr dreams might bury you
Don't eat for skinny girls always
Get a date
Yr hair short with silver will float
In Andy's eternal world
As you both are in control
And heaven is an all-night party
Caressing yr beautiful thigh

This is your greatest verse yet, LeeAnn. You capture those moments when artists stop portraying tragedy only to become it.

Another one of your really great tributes. This one to the 'It Girl' and 'Youthquaker'. She missed the infamous 27 Club by one year. Such a tragic waste of life! And such a successful use of talent on your part, LeeAnn!
