Goodbye Twenty Twenty Poem by Geeta Radhakrishna Menon

Goodbye Twenty Twenty

Rating: 5.0

As the hours tick and the days go by,
As the night gently moves into a golden dawn,
Twenty twenty slipping away as a scary dream,
Together, let us welcome the new year with joy.

We needed this encouraging poem, Geeta. It is so easy to slide into depression and a feeling of hopelessness... but whoever has God in his or her heart has a source of joy and hope. Thank you for this poem. my dear poetress! 5 stars

Simply wonderful. These four lines chronicle the year gone by truthfully and arouse hopes and joyous feelings for the new year. Wishing to you A Very Happy New Year to you and your family. It is strange that the poem did not allow me to post my comments earlier.
