I see red and green
the colours you have oft seen
please guess what might that be?
you can never guess this, but feel free
I'd love to hear your ardent shout
please, do that very very loud....

Lovely! ! ! ! With the muse of the watermelon. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Well roses come in many colours, but as this one is about love, we can assume it to be red. In olden days there were many such teaser poems called ukhanas in local languages in India. Glad to see one in English and one well crafted.
It could be a traffic signal! It could be a lot of things even the sun rising and setting on the green earth!
Thank you so much dear Edward for your kindest and politest response. Thank you very much dear poet Aniruddha Sir for your correct guess and lovely compliment. At present I cannot give response anymore below the comments given, so I write that here on another space, But I appreciate both your visits and comments given, dear poets! God Bless You
To Edward, thank you for your response, indeed it could be a red watermelon, but it is a Red Rose on a green leaf. Peace to you and no racism! Thank you so much for your visit. God's Blessings! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I wanted to give response tour your review since that date, but my response constantly disappeared by the Advertisements, so on this way it is much much better, my text stays, I only have to turn the page. Peace to you!
You are absolutely right, Dr. Lakshmi. My most favourite colours, but they are a rose with its leaves. Thank you so much for your excellent response. God's Blessings!
it is red and green but its name is rose...color is actually what it sees.. it is unique
