There are times when even an ocean of saline tears cannot lift pain from the distressed heart. Amazing haiku, Mahtab. This goes on myfavourites list.

I liked the use of the word veins, it give an impression that something is coming from the heart. Though all the veins carry dirty blood but there is a pulmonary vein too. Yes, there are so many sentiments but there in it is sentiment of love, as well. A great Haiku.
