Hey, Hey Poem by Practicing Poetess

Hey, Hey

Rating: 4.7

While the cat's away (Hey, hey)
The mice will play
While the wife's away (Hey, hey)
Her spouse will stray

While the boss is out (Hey, hey)
The workers lay about
While the teacher's out (Hey, hey)
The pupils run and shout

When the parents go (Hey, hey)
Their children toys do throw
When a loved one goes (in Death)
You will have grief and woes.

Rebelling is dangerous, exciting and fun, but death is all too real. A light humorous beat to this poem.but a deep message.

Thanks, Cap'n! One may get away with light rebellion, but serious rebellion can lead to death. An astute comment on your part!

This poem is very powerful and seems to be humorous and metaphoric in expression. When a loved one goes this is definitely very painful. Deep sorrow acquires place and respective person cries in grief and woes. An amazing sharing is done here. This is an excellent poem...10
