बस्ती बस्ती घोर उदासी (Hindi)
बस्ती बस्ती घोर उदासी........... पर्वत पर्वत खालीपन
मन का हीरा बिका कोड़ियों नीलाम हुआ तन का चंदन
इस धरती से उस अम्बर तक.. दो ही चीज़ अनोखी हैं
एक तो तेरा अति भोलापन...... एक मेरा दीवानापन.
Beautiful four liner with deep meaning. I loved the last line particularly - एक तो तेरा अति भोलापन एक मेरा दीवानापन. Only when we look at the vast sky and its generosity, do we we realise how empty, lonely, powerless and mad we are.! Great lines from a great poet, Sir!

Wah wah kya baat hai...........It reminded me the famous lines of a shayar to whom someone asked can you tell what is life and love in two to 4 lines and prompt came the reply: Tujhe Mohabbat Karna Nahi Aata, Mujhe Mohabbat Ke Siva Kuch Nahi Aata, Zindagi Guzarne Ke Do Tarike Hote Hai, Ek Tujhe Nahi Aata Aur Ek Mujhe Nahi Aata.

Mujhe lagta hay yeh kavita Bhagvan aur Insan per likhi gayee hay, Bhagvan ka bholapan aur insan ka deewanapan. Aysa ho ya na ho per yeh bahut hi sunder kavita hay.
Thanks for your short but a wonderful critique on this poem. The man, with his limited knowledge, can't go into the rationale of what goes on in his life or the world around him whereas God remains impartial and fair to each one of us.
