Hoping Out Loud Poem by Sandra Feldman

Hoping Out Loud

Rating: 5.0

The World should belong
To Those,
That cannot be intimidated
Those that aspire to do
No wrong,
And should not be run,
By those that can be bought
Or made to sub-perform,
But each Country has
The government it deserves
So it's up to us
To become better, not be fooled,
Or led by paleontological demagogues
Politicians with dictatorial aspirations,
That promise all to everyone
And then, all take, all want, to own,
You reap what you seed, make sure your seeds
Are justly, properly and equitably sown,
The harvest sweet and plentiful,
Your Country loved, protected
For it is our best and only home.

A powerful and wonderful political write. A must read for all. The power of the governed lies in the votes.. the right of suffrage. We must not compromise this right otherwise we might put a devil in the highest seat of the country and everything follows...... Yes, each country has the government it deserves. Beautifully and brilliantly penned. Onto my Poem List.
