I Couldn't Love You More If I Tried

Rating: 5.0

Sunlight streams into my window,
There's a smile upon my face
My first waking thoughts are of you,
How you hold a special place
In this heart of mine, where few
Are e'er invited in
Just the sound of your voice
Can put me in a love-spin!

What we have developed slowly
It had a good foundation
Began with friendship first,
Before it turned into elation.
Should I let love in, or not?
It wasn't too tough to decide.
You're the one I've waited for,
Couldn't love you more if I tried.

Thank you, Louis. It's the thought that counts (although, of course, I'd like the rating, too!) : -)
