I Don't Turn To You Anymore

Rating: 5.0

I turned to you
I thought it was what a wife was supposed to do
When there was rain, I looked for sun
but all you did was blame and run
left to hold everything on my own
left to deal with darkness and the unknown
I don't turn to you anymore
and my house is not your home
and there will always be a locked door
I don't turn to you anymore

Love Sometimes Turns Sour the sad reality of love that can sometimes devastatingly turns sour the shock is the betrayal, abandonment, the lack of support, the horrors, of the blame game; the ray of hope is the locked tight door, the truth in where not to look for support any more, love is honesty love is courage not a betrayal, blame game; Inspired by the poem 'I Don't Turn To You Anymore' by the poet Aqua Flower. Dedicated to the poet Aqua Flower.

The sad reality of love that can sometimes devastatingly turns sour. The sock is the betrayal, abandonment, the lack of support, the horrors of the blame game. The ray of hope is the locked door, the truth in where not to look for support any more. I love the honesty and courage of this poem.

it's not nice to have a relationship turn sour, but hopefully being the one who does not 'have to move out' helps some to ease the situation. THEN it is back to the dating sites (online or bars) . to MyPoemList. bri :)

Locking the door for the first time must be so hard emotionally. I think the line, 'and my house is not your home' says it all.
