I Hate You Poem by Aqua Flower

I Hate You

Rating: 4.7

Those words
I couldn't believe I typed them to you
Never had I ever said them nor wrote them
frustrated inside and out
I wanted to hurt you
Cause I feel rejected and unloved
and that message seems to never get through to you
no matter what I say
no matter how I plea
you say I'm just ungrateful
and I should learn to be happy
but you don't know how I feel
because you don't feel the same for me

The poem is an expression of not hatred, I would call it frustration. There is a gap between the teller and the told in the perception of their relationship and its demands. I wish the poetess peace of mind. She is a poetess of love. May love return to her life soon!

What a great poem, truth to each word.

That you can tell why the hatred is there makes this poem a powerful statement.

Very sad poem, but written from a lovely heart, off the tongue rolls emotions which cannot be contained, rejection has a unique hurt as your poem points out...sad but a great poem!

Sometimes we expect too much from others. When we actually hold more in our heart that can ever be returned.
