I had quite a nasty scare.
My diamond ring slipped down the side of the chair.
It fell between and under the cushion,
Where no one could reach, or even be lookin'.
I vowed to tear the whole chair apart,
But then I felt it, by luck or sheer smarts.
I hooked it tight, and slid it up to me,
Then gave it a scolding for being so naughty!
Care, bare! ! ! ! Scare of life! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
A VERY, VERY great sigh, Bernard! Thank you for your comment! : -)

The chair was thankfully spared! Lovely poem!
Kostas, you definitely think like a man! The diamond ring would not be nearly as important as a recliner chair, where you can sit to watch football and other sport! hahaha! Thank you for commenting! : -)
