"I Love You's" On The Wind Poem by Practicing Poetess

"I Love You's" On The Wind

Rating: 5.0

She blew him a kiss
As they waved good-bye,
And whispered "I love you's"
On the wind.

She watched him pull off
And tried not to cry,
It might be some time
Before she'd see him again.

The days they had shared
Were pure, unspoiled bliss.
A tearful farewell
Was sealed with a kiss.

A sad but happy ending. " Parting is such sweet sorrow" . To meet again or never to meet " in thunder lightning or rain" ...restrain the refrain. Good poem.

The essence of separation that actually breaks us all but at one point or other we all have to go through this experience. The emotions just pour out telling the story. Thank-you for penning this.
