I’m Just Here - I Care (For My Dearest Friend Mary Wismer) Poem by Rommel Filoteo

I’m Just Here - I Care (For My Dearest Friend Mary Wismer)

Rating: 5.0

How can I tell you what I'm feeling when sometimes,
I don't even understand your pain.
I wish things were perfectly wonderful for you,
But you’re going to have to work at it to make them that way.
I do believe you have so much to build on…
So many things to accomplish…
So many things to do…
Your memories and your love for family most of all.
I may not always understand why you possess these illnesses,
Or exactly how to make yourself stronger,
But I care enough to want you to try to find out.
When the world closes in and lies so heavily upon you,
I’m just here - I care.
When cancer is only brought you pain,
I’m just here - I care.
What cannot be, cannot be, but always,
I’m just here - I care.
Never be afraid to come to me my dearest friend
If you have need of the simplest thing!
Love of a family...
Care of a brother …
Comfort of a friend...
No matter what it is,
I’m just here - I care.

You are so dear to me Mary,

I will always pray to God everyday to bless you with everything you deserve...

Heartfelt and passionate, your words of consolation and devotion to Mary in her time of need are very moving. Your words 'I'm just here - I care' are so reassuring. To have someone to listen, to be there for you, makes all the difference when times are tough. I'm sure Mary will be touched by your words. Bless you both. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

My Mum passed away from cancer this morning... and the journey was always made more bearable by 'friends like you' that keep reaching out to others in shape and forms that are endless, unpredictable cushions of comfort that fold and fluff to whatever is needed... Blessings also Deana

Your compassion and heartfelt feelings shine through in your words. It is pleasing to see that caring people like you exist and take the time to voice your feelings so that others may benefit by your precious words. Melvina
