I save this teardrop
Invaluable as it is
For my journey
Full of rocks and bushes thorny
And I drink it
As a drop of rain
In hot Summer.
Compares a tear drop to water one might need for a journey under the hot sun of summer.
It is in our difficulties that we experience the most growth. Invaluable indeed are those precious teardrops. A simple yet very deep poem
When life looks like the summer the drunk tears appear as drops in the next rainy season. A great poem.
Thank you Akhtar Jawadji for reading my poem and your great comment.
very inspiring lines mam.... we all need to be strong enough to fight with our problems.....
Topic is certainly teardrop. Hide and drink this saline recalls a lot.I am sure, no poet can exactly pen the severity of this moment. Alive. But, you can do it. Kindly, retry it.
Thank you Bichitra Anand for your wonderful comment. Many times I go through the comments of my readers to get inspiration.

I would like to translate this poem
bharati, i was attracted to the title of this one, and i like, as in other poems of yours, how you say what you want to briefly—in, out, done. and what i like as well is that you avoid being sentimental. who of us doesn't need to remember the beautiful, what has moved us, to help our perspective through difficult times? this is why, as i understand it, the bible lays such stress on remembering the good. the part of this poem beginning with For my journey brings to my mind a poem of mine, the heart as tabernacle. it's mostly quite different than this one of yours. if you read it and are not familiar with the reference, the tabernacle was the temporary and moving tent where the israelites in their journey to the promised land went to meet God; it was a symbol of God's presence. hoping you are well, glen
Thank you Glen Kappy for reading and liking my poems.Yes, the term 'tabernacle'is totally new to me.We have some spaces in heart where we meet God, our Saviour.
