I Took A Leek - Poem by Kim Barney

I took a leek at the grocery store
and placed it in my basket.
If you want to know if it was sore
then you'll just have to ask it!

    to MyPoemList.

a man of few words. well, when one has to 'take a leek/leak (heh heh) there is not too much time for writing.

i hope most readers understand this the way i do. :) :)

    and:

    The Fight

I got in a fight the other day.
    He squashed my pretty nose
But I then beet him 'all the way',
so much that he never rose!
