We can…
notice nature suffers,
how pretty flowers wilt
in heat of midday sun,
how plants are broken
by the wind, how some
die from frosty cold.
But…
still see natures beauty
blooms, a cascade of
colour, lights our much
divided fractured world.
Which…
has no concern, so
occupied by conflict, war,
discrimination, worry and
its greed for many things.
Yet…
our world suffers all of
mans quarrels and disorder,
so it can be, a poets dream,
a bards delight, a writers relish
and an artists paradise.

Like Nature that is bright under harsh Sun too, poets and artists are wise delight to mankind in the world of turmoil always! Wonderful message, Bob! ! !
You have written your verse with the philosophical eyes of a true gardner! I join you with my prayers - hoping for the best, while the world faces the worst! 10! -Raj

Nicely worded. Beautiful. The thought and presentation is very clear. Good work! DC
beautiful Bob....it reminded me of a poem I wrote called 'Ordinary Beauty' with some very similar lines...

This is amazingly profound and sweet. Man and Nature in duality bask, Resurging unity is the poet's task. CP
It is easy to become cynical, especially if one views the world through a television screen (nature documents notwithstanding) , but when life is lived in the raw, in the garden and in the full light of human awareness, it remains a pretty awesome place to be - as you have demonstrated so palpably in this fine, inspiration poem. Thanks for showing us. Love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
