In Tune With Life Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

In Tune With Life

Rating: 5.0

Musical memories,
How gentle they sound,
Bring back the good times,
So often I've found,
They've picked me up,
They've made me cry,
A constant companion,
That helps me get by,
Pleasant to the ear,
Gentle on the heart,
Music has played such a wonderful part,
Without it,
Where would I be?
Those sweet sounds of music,
Are calling to me.

Musical memories seem to be remembered more readily than many other memories! TFS!

You have capitalised the fond memories of the past to take the remaining roads of the journey of the life. Loved this endearing poem.

music is the peaceful shore of life whereas someone proclaimed that music is the medicine of the agitated mind; nice to read you

I love the beauty of good lyrics by good writers. I listen from Bach Brandenburg concerto's to Les Misérable to Hotel California though music doesn't make me sad.
