Joy - Poem by Michael P. McParland
Joy is what I feel whenever I see, think,
or even hear your beautiful name,
joy is what I feel outright about you sweet lady.
A joy that can't be equaled by anything
or anyone else you see.
Only you bring such joy to me.
Elation when I hear your voice and my heart
almost bursts in adoration when you speak to me and say my name.
Shivers down my spine and all over tingling
when you say Michael, I get lost in a euphoric daze.
Joy is all I feel for you my Angel so truly great,
you're so beautiful and I'm in awe that you love me too.
How am I so lucky to be blessed with the love of a Queen
Joy now as I'm writing thinking of you,
longing and aching to have you in my arms,
by my side, hand in my hand, seeing you smile,
looking into your eyes,
just longing and aching to have you in every way my darling.
You bring me joy in the most heavenly ways,
you are the greatest my Angel Queen.
There will be endless joy when we come together,
eternity spent laughing joyously together,
pure happiness in my soul with the joys of knowing
our future together will happen.
I love you so much in all ways every day,
I'm with you forever and thank you for the joy that you bring.
