Jump Ship Or Not
I hear the soft chime
from many a lip:
'I think it's time
we jump this ship.'
'it's not fun anymore, '
they all have said,
'so swim for the shore
or wind up dead.'
It was a fun ride
in the good old days,
but many have cried
at the dumb new ways.
I'll hang on for now,
but patience is thin.
I just don't see how
we'll eke out a win.
Yes a point comes in life when you have to take a decision, you have to make a choice. Life doesn't allow you to walk many paths. Very well articulated Kim!
This is fantastic, Kim. I've sometimes thought that life is like being on a log in the middle of the ocean...some small respite but lots of danger. We may swim for shore, but does anyone ever make it? This verse goes to myfavourites.

The dilemma mankind is always facing....so aptly put into words.
An apt metaphor for abandoning this website. You are certainly correct that it is not as much fun as it used to be. I wish they would bring back the old version, but I don't suppose they ever will.
