Just One Poem by Geetha Jayakumar

Just One

Rating: 5.0

Poor farmer sows countless seeds
His sweat is the crop produced
Feeds the stomach of millions
But he dies of starving
Just for One seed.

Sea is full of water
Just One drop of it cannot quench thirst.

Standing in the midst of grape vineyard
Full of juicy black and green grapes
Not a penny in hand to have Just One.

Just One weighs more than empty ones.

Poor farmer sows countless seeds pouring his sweat in lands. He feeds millions and dies. His suffering remains unnoticed by many is thought provoking. You are right in observation. Sea is full of water but one drop cannot quench thirst. All have to think on this issue to take care of farmers...10
