Let Me Go, Release These Chains
I am beginning to think
It was never meant to be
What we had, is now long gone
I may love you, but not in love
Not the way I should
All you do is make me cry
Keep me in solitude
Where I'm confined
Suffocation, can't breathe
Need to break loose
Why are you trying to trap me?
Let me go
Release these chains
I no longer want to be your prisoner
All these years
Of unhappiness, aching memories
All these years
Of suffering, sacrificing my life
Just so you could be happy
I've tried so many times
To tell you how I've felt
But you won't listen
To the words I'm trying to tell
Why can't you see?
The misery I'm in
Let me go
Release these chains
I no longer want to be your prisoner
So tired of feeling
Like I'm doing everything wrong
When all you do is act better than me?
Treat me as if I'm nothing
Bring me down, when I am up
Bring out the worst part of me
This is not love, it's not real
I cannot do this any more
If this is my life
Then fall to death I shall
For that will be my sacrifice
Please let me go
Release these chains
I no longer want to be your prisoner
Emotional chains are the strongest to break. The key lies in our heart, and to get to that key the heart must be broken.

If he will not release you, remember, your restraints, your chains... are only as strong as the weakest link. You can break free if you know the right words... let them come. Open your heart to trust in yourself and others, for there is one who will never hurt or betryay you.
