Wow- -
This life- -
These half dreams,
The half built statue,
An unfinished poem,
A picture half drawn,
Myriad desires unfulfilled,
Yet, thirst is thriving
Searching water
From earth to heaven.
What is best, I like in this poem is the thirst that is from earth to heaven (being positive) . and poetically every line is wonderful.
Thank you poet Muhammad Ali for reading my poem and your beautiful comment.
A fabulous short poem that laudably articulates all about life, desire, fulfilment, , , well penned. Full marks!
Dear bharati-nayak, The lines, Searching water From earth to heaven. gives a spiritual value to the poem. the poem travels not only birth to death (life span) and also markes its footstep in heaven.

(continued) ... both the S. of Liberty and the C. of Rhodes stand/stood about 33 metres (108 feet) high, according to Google/Wikipedia! ! one was stone, i assume, and was destroyed by an 'earthquake' less than a century after completion, and the other is clothed with copper sheeting i believe, which has 'weathered' to green. [i have one of me, that size, in our backyard. good enough! ] to MyPoemList. bri :)
I wonder how the reply button works here as in many of my previous trial I could not post my reply to individual comments.Perhaps some wonders are there in this 'Statue of Liberty'.I hope and wish for Bri Edward's works to weather green and be the ever present greenery in the poetic world.
